Afghan Women Sports Kabul Olympic 2007.

Sports for Afghan women has been a rare to not-existent phenomena for years and yet still after the establishment of the Interim Administration, the girls and women were able to come out from under their burqas and take charge of sports in various fields. For instance, there are now women practicing in the fields of running, Tae Kwan Do, Kung Fu and Karate as well as some other minor sporting activities. These women are more into the sport-to-keep-healthy way of practice and they rarely go into the professional sense of the activity, being bigoted and restricted for decades from taking part in any active form of sports.
