INA Project In Kabul (RTA) Electronic Media

Thanks to Ina, French Archive Institute, Nasreen Ramjber, technician at the national Afghan radio -RTA-, is learning how to digitalize the sound archives. This is the new stage of a 6-years project to save Afghan archives from national cinema, radio and television.

Mohammad aka tareen and ghulam rabani behroz, 2 technicians at the national Afghan television, went to France last year to follow a training about saving and digitalizing archives thanks to INA INA –institute national de l audiovisual, French audiovisual institute.

French journalists and members of INA –institute national de l audiovisual, French audiovisual institute- stayed 10 days in Kabul for their 10th mission at the Afghan national radio-television, Afghan films and Ariana to help Afghan technicians to save their sound and picture archives. The program began in 2002 and zill be finished in one yearn at the end 48 000 hours will be saved and digitalized.
