Mobile Shop In Kabul

Afghanistan, Kabul, World of Mobile, a mobile shop in Kabul, Mohammad Ebrahim is since 2002 shopkeeper of World of Mobile, a private shop offering a wide variety of mobiles. He is running his shop close to Chicken Street, one of the two touristical streets in Kabul. He is proud of his shop and can make a living out of it.
The photographer Fardin Waezi learned photography in his father's studio in Kabul; he had been arrested by the Taliban five times by the age of 18 for "photorelated crimes" and for cutting his beard. "I want to show my country's beauty", says Fardin, now 22. "I want to reflect Afghan society through pictures."
